…or at least they show some love for turf dancing — the crazy, beautiful, and crazy-again dance form that was born…where? Oh yeah, that’s right, here in Oakland.

With all the media hate usually thrown our way, it’s nice to see The Town get some love. Even if it does include the “inner-city” euphemisms one would expect from an old white dude on ABC.

Bigger than the corporate hype, nothing but love for the grassroots artists who continue to push the culture: Turf Feinz, the good folks at YAK Films, and the ultimate reggaeton homies Los Rakas.

Time to stop blogging. Let’s get to turfing…
