Through the ongoing chaos of this crazy country, the holiday season is almost upon us. And as a Jew, I’m choosing to celebrate Chanukah the way my ancestors would want me to: by telling funny stories and supporting a free Palestine!
I’m organizing this Laughter and Liberation show this Thursday, December 18 in Oakland — and this is going to be a fun one. Not only does it feature an all-star lineup (W. Kamau Bell! Nato Green! Sammy Obeid!), but all proceeds will go to two of the best groups in the Bay kicking ass for justice in Israel/Palestine: the Arab Resource and Organizing Center and Jewish Voice for Peace.
